I am honored to be your wrestling coach at Iowa State University! My staff, athletes and I are excited about the upcoming season, and are in preparation to be the very best that we can be. Our motto is, “ALL IN!” This year you will see our Cyclone wrestlers compete with more intensity, compete with more aggression, score more points and finish matches stronger. We will be solid in all baseline positions. We will attack and we will compete for the National Championship!

As you know, for us to have success, our program must include Olympic hopefuls that train year round at Iowa State. We have already started with a strong base of these athletes that include Trent and Travis Paulson and Nate Gallick, and we are looking to add more. Fortunately for us, these current athletes training are Iowa State graduates and nation team members. We are confident that with the continued support of the Cyclone Wrestling Club and the state of Iowa, these wrestlers will be world team members and Olympians.

I am looking forward to working closely with the Cyclone Wrestling Club and taking it to the next step. With the club’s continued support of our elite level wrestlers and our overall wrestling program, I am confident that we will have success. However, being able to accomplish our initiative requires a significant financial investment. Although the hard work and dedication of our club members has aided our program over the years, it is by building a sound financial base that will allow us to deliver the successful program we all desire. Our commitment is great to getting this done, but your help and support is needed through increased membership in and donations to the Cyclone Wrestling Club.
