2010 Harold Nichols Cyclone Open

Date: Saturday, November 13^th, 2010

Place: Lied Recreation Center, Ames, IA – Iowa State University

Eligibility: Open to all post high school wrestlers.

Weight classes: 125, 133, 141, 149, 157, 165, 174, 184, 197 & 285

Entry fee: A fee of $25.00 per wrestler will be charged. Entry fees must be paid prior to weigh-in. Entries sent in after the deadline will be charged $30 per entry. All entry fees are non-refundable. Make checks payable to: Cyclone Wrestling Club.

Entry Deadline: All entries must be submitted by Thursday, November 11^th at 12:00 pm. Please E-mail your entries to cyonw@iastate.edu or fax your entries to (815) 301-8998. To verify your entries please call (515) 451-9000.

Weigh-ins & skin checks: Weigh-ins and skin checks will be held at the Lied Recreation Center beginning at 8:00 am on Saturday, November 13^th.

Format: This will be a double elimination format tournament. NCAA rules will be followed with seven minute matches; riding time will be kept for all matches.

Seeding: Outstanding individuals will be seeded based on the information submitted with entries. Entries must be received by the early deadline to be eligible for seeding. Please be sure to send information on your seedable individuals.

Schedule: The Lied Recreation Center will open at 6:30 am. Registration will be from 7-8:00 am; weigh-ins and skin checks will start at 8:00 am. Wrestling will begin at 10:00 am and run straight through.

Lodging: Make your own arrangements. Below is a list of some hotels near the facility.
